I’m so happy to be bringing my quartet back to Mezzrow! Gary Versace - piano, Gary Wang - bass, and Mark McLean - drums!

On Gene’s actual 88th birthday, we’ll be playing at one of his favorite NYC jazz clubs, Mezzrow! I’ll sing a little, and listen a lot to this great band and special guests including Josh Marcum (bass), Roni Ben-Hur (guitar), and Clay Jenkins (trumpet)!

This trio focuses on Brazilian repertoire, including songs by Antonio Carlos Jobim, Egberto Gismonti, and Hermeto Pascoal. It features Vitor Gonçalves on accordion and Tal Yahalom on guitar.

We’re bringing sweet-toned harmonies, insouciant swing, and “jovial esprit” (Downbeat), to the Birdland Theater! Join us as we light up the holidays, channeling the inspiration of vintage jazz vocal trios into an entertaining package that’s utterly up to date and suffused with a sparkling stage presence that has proved irresistible to audiences from coast to coast.
